STIR HUB

The STIR HUB is an interactive window with world wide sources of inspiration. It is educational, sharing and inspirational.

People get acquainted with the variety of realities, views, best practice, etc. and are challenged to reflect, experiment and share experiences.

A local STIR HUB is preferably independent with multiple partnerships in the field of local education, consultancy and project initiatives.

Global issues

Humankind evolves globally and is experienced locally. Glocalization (local 4 local 4 global) is a tendency that transforms the globalization of fragmented interests into local application of multidisciplinary responsibilities.

Some steps in the evolution of economics can be summarized as follows:

1730 ->: industrial economy

1850 ->: knowledge economy

1950 ->: experience economy

2000 ->: transformation economy

Local solutions

Some global issues for local solutions are:

* Pollution

* Climate change

* Rising sea levels

* Migrations of people

* Culture clashes

* Human made disasters

* Financial dictatorship

* Food & water shortages

* Financial speculation

* Aging population and cost of living

* Anthropocene (also genetic)

* etc

Each demands local attention and responsibility taking with a complexity of its own.
