Vision

There are three simple reasons why we created the STIR Academy

Our own awareness & consequences

We are entrepreneurial citizens ourselves that experiment with new realities. We know how complex it is to make a difference. The desire to share our knowledge with others is big because we realize that our expertise can help others to cross the line or find strength to continue.

We also know that many other people like us gather experience and insights that we can use too.

That's why we started this, not to sell eachother our innovative idea but recognizing the effort people put into change by providing our little bit of help and support.

Every "local" is different

In the financial world uniformity is an obsessive commonality out of globalized self interest. In the natural real human world for sustainable human progress, uniformity is an abnormality.

Every culture, climate, surroundings, population, social interaction, human being, local history, etc is unique. When dealing with sustainable progress this authenticity is as important as difficult to deal with.

That is why the inspirational interaction between initiatives across the world can be extremely important. Not to be lectured but to share experiences.

Despite the differences we share the commonality of sustainable human progress (sustainocracy), even if expressed or developped differently elsewhere:

  • Health

  • Safety

  • Self sufficiency

  • Self awareness

  • Nutrician

In many cases we can contrast with other world views, such as the old world of dependence (robotics, economic world), chaos or areas of recovery. We see always three parallel (not sequential) innovations:

* Social innovation (awareness)

* Applied technological innovation

* Governance innovation (system change)

The optimal interaction between these three produces progress. Blockages produces crises.

World wide issues, local solutions

On the site we already listed the global issues that we need to deal with. The large economical and political systems try their best to uphold themselves while being part of the problem.

Solutions do not always come from the establishment. When changes become common good the establishment tends to take over again to expand it. Before that they behave as a conservative impediment.

A recent promotion of a Dutch politician showed that the democractic establishment may be capable of self criticism and reflection but not of self transformation.

In our years of STIR experience we have encountered self aware human beings willing to use their position of authority for change but never the establishment itself. It is hence a human function of vision, connection and perserverance. Institutions act according human leadership, not the other way around. They are hence instruments for those in charge. When the human being wants to change the instrument, no matter how big, it will change.

It is our commitment to create a community that uses awareness and our instruments for sustainable human progress.
